What the Raiders did with those picks is pretty inconsequential to the Bears. It had no outcome on the Bears whatsoever.

I thought we were discussing who won the trade, though?

And I appreciate that. I also called you smart and a good dude two hours ago. I think you genuinely come from an honest place, but sometimes act like any little bit of criticism is a call to fire the coach and burn the program down. You’re a bit hyper-sensitive sometimes. And again, you twist and misrepresent my opinions all of the time. So please don’t act like I’m the only one that does it. It’s an effective debate tactic when all we have is this forum, and explaining our positions is harder than it might be in person. I expect some of that tbh.

I honestly can't think of any single thing that I repeatedly claim you believe or said that you didn't, and that you've told me over and over "no this isn't what i meant".  Can you give me an example?

I respect you, so if I were to run off for years with a blatant misrepresentation of your opinion, and you'd told me over and over over those years that it's a blatant misrepresentation of your opinion, I would not continue to state it as if it was a fact every time it comes up.

I'm sure I have attempted to summarize your point and failed before, but I have never to my knowledge intentionally misrepresented something you said for years, over hundreds of objections and explanations, and continued running with it despite it being explained to me a hundred times.

Like, I made fun of you for being into Reggie Theus at the time, but I also recognize that what you really said was, it could be worse than Theus.  I don't know if I totally agree, but if I were still going on like others do about how you thought Theus was THE answer, that's more like what you do to me.  I wouldn't say that, because I know it isn't true - and I actively try to point out it's false when other people do it to you.  I don't think I do that to you, but if you can provide an example of me doing it I'll admit to it.

You exaggerate my points all the time for effect. And to shoot them down. I obviously do it as well. Every time I lob the slightest hint of criticism toward Underwood you come out guns a blazin’ and rant about how crazy it is to want Underwood fired.

Even “that’s a bad look” (which isn’t a highly controversial take, many would agree) gets pages and pages and pages of push back.

And again, suffering a slight bit of embarrassment over missing on a local kid isn’t the end of the world. I’ve conceded many times, it happens. But Anthony Davis is one thing. Rayj Dennis is another. You stub your toe, you move on. No one gets fired or marked with a scarlet letter.

A school to closely monitor for Toledo transfer RayJ Dennis is Utah.

The Utes have a legit shot to land the MAC player of the year.

Dennis’ trainer is long time friends with Utah HC Craig Smith.

Would love to have this kid Darrion Sutton from St. Louis become an ILLINI with Johnson and Hansberry and his versatility....

Guess the "assistant" is the trainer MN mentioned who's friends with the Utah HC who wasn't actually hired by them.

It's sounding like we significantly upped the ante.
