He’s definitely the type we need in today’s game. He’s the type that goes to other schools and we miss out on, but in a great position with him. Almost all our eggs are in this basket and we’re not really recruiting anybody else for 2023 too hard. Illinois has proven to be an elite level NIL school and that has helped us quite a bit. I think we’ll get him.

I guess we shall see how elite level the NIL is, as it has not appeared to have done much on the football side so far.

Probably a top 10 or better actual performer this summer. Averaged a double double. Very skilled and solid defender. Can play the post or perimeter. Described as a point center.  Just moved up to  #52 on top 247. Different players but kind of reminds me of Rodgers in some ways -- motor, hands, length, skills, versatility, wins.

Former Illini comparison: Ken Colliers- Norman. Hansberry is similar to Norman in that in he is not a great athlete, but he is very strong, long, highly skilled, and has very good hands and a high basketball IQ.  Like "Snake", he is not a great outside shooter, but can score from midrange or  in the paint.

JJ Taylor, come on down, join the class.

Welcome Amani - Very very good left, nice hands on catches, can pass the ball. Not extremely athletic (below rim kind of player), gets leaned out (Fletch) and weights...maybe above rim player. Rebounding has alot to do with current size and hands against players, we will se if it can translate.
