We shall see.   He tore both his ACL and meniscus, with all his hype being predicated to what he did before that. Rehabilitating this type of injury from the 90s compared to today has improved in leaps and bounds but is no guarantee.  It certainly took a chunk of athleticism out of DaMonte's game.

This is when he came back this year. He has great looking stroke.
Did have a nice block toward the end. We will see.

Reminds me of JCL. Nice stroke but lacks the athleticism to break anyone down off the dribble.

Guy’s ceiling looks like maybe Feliz with a better 3 point stroke. Or Tracy Abrams.  Stocky, not quick, not much of a leaper combo guard

I can see why Kentucky cut him loose after his injury.  He reminds me of Boswell but with far less explosion

If you are under 6’4 and don’t have quicks to drive by your opponent, then it really caps your upside as a lead guard.

This guy maybe could be similar to Geo Baker where he can score in isolation jump shot mode but isn’t gonna be a PG.
