The latest is Bilic will practice with the team and work on strength training, but won't play in games this season. He is 20 years old, from Croatia. No word on future eligibility.

Re-Opened and major will be business....ILINI in the mix now with offer! This kid would be a very good piece to add to the program with Wagler, The VICS, etc...and well we align with pretty much ALL of what is Mother is looking for as well.

Several stories about the kid, his determination and want to play/get better....could be ideal fit for us.

Would love to get these two as a package deal....6'6-6'5 both have offers already, and then throw in say Jaxson Davis to facilitate and Quinton Kitt already committed to us. That would be one hell of a in state class for us, and both Martin 27/Kelly 28 want to continue to play together.

If the way Wagler is playing, AND the way the ILLINI have given him the keys with all of the Euro experience factored in, is not a recruiting tool I don't what is.

Watch the sleepers recap of our game with Missouri. Some really incredible insight on just how special Wagler has been as a true freshman. Don’t take him for granted.

I was impressed with Wagler early.
If he would have been on the team with Matthew Mayer he may have punched Mayer instead of Mayer punching Epps, or whomever it was.
And we'd have been a better team. Lol

A monumental development: a former NBA draft pick is immediately eligible to play college basketball this season.
