Absolutely.
Having them sit out is absurd.
They are not employees and should not be subject to essentially a no compete clause.

I didn't know what the circumstances were. It is not ultimately up to Whitman or these ADs would be just be trading favors.
The NCAA has to be final arbiter I would think.
They must have requested a waiver based on being closer to family. 
Certainly supporting that by UI AD is right thing to do.

Another swing and a miss for the illinment.  How many top recruits have they missed over the past 7 or 8 months?  Seems like a ton.  This is getting kind of concerning.

Lots of competition for these elite level kids. Got a couple good pieces. Having openings could end up being a blessing in disguise going into this crazy transfer season. Keep a healthy mix of top 100 HS talent coming in along with college known quantities
