Keep an eye on Iowa next year. Bennett Stirtz is fucking legit. Way better than the Brock Harding bullshit that Fran was recruiting.

Stirtz will be best PG in Big next year and it will not even be close.
Iowa is going to be difficult system to deal with.  McCollum can coach.

Good day today. Should be able to be very selective on rounding out the roster and have some time to do so.

Stojakovic is a great get. Worst thing I see is 31% from 3 and knowing it's not going to stop the bombs-away strategy.

Probably will be bombs away, but I think having bigs that can spread the floor are the biggest part of why he’s coming here. His whole thing is getting to the basket and having multiple bigs that bring big defenders out of the lane will be good for his game.

Coward to Duke.

2 spots left open? 1 Bradslovic will hold open more than likely. Wing/Guard player still needed? Luka Bogavac. I know he has a letter off, but he is a pretty good plan if Riley doesn't come back and he isn't going too!

D1 College is basically a pro league now but no salary caps, no player contracts, and drastic inequality of $ resources across the 361 programs.

The top incoming HS players are getting paid well. The rest are getting token money and hoping to work their way into some money or jump to a richer program.
A lot of kids still just want to play D1 and are happy to be on a roster, play, and get a degree. They do still give scholarships at D1.

Its basically an openly paid AAU circuit and the level of basketball is not good IMO. Puts more of the onus on a coachign staff to create cohesion and a team that makes the pieces work in the chaos.

Illinois is bringing in good, but not great talent and the staff is simply average at best. I think we will be treading water in the Top 20-40 range unless they improve the staff.

Of course programs want to win now and look to the portal and foreign influx for talent that can play now if they can't get a Top 50 HS kids.

It actually read better the second time I read it.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"
