I haven’t been paying attention to this shit much...but holy crap, they (Illinois staff) not real bright here. This was a “mentor recruitment” , foreign-born kid with a leech attached to him for 10 years. No idea how they couldn’t see the forest from the trees here.

Why is anyone surprised?

We were ranked AP #2 with a 1 seed and proceeded to get housed for 40 minutes by an #8 seed mid major who had beaten absolutely nobody.

When Bill Self or a clone like him comes walking thru the door, wake me up and I’ll be excited again.

If they are a mentor/coach- you find a job for him on staff if that is what it takes.
