Looks like Ayo had better game tonight.
Got 21 shots and scored 26 points with a lineup that sat Williams and Dotson.
Finished the 4 game set 18-45 and 1-8 from 3.

Ayo had 19 in a blowout Monday night.

Finished 25-59 overall and 1-11 from three.
1.6 Assist per game and 1.6 TO per game, and 4.4 Rebounds per game.

Not sure you can take a victory lap this early in the season, but the Bulls appear to be better with Ayo. In time we will see if the Illini are better without him as many here have proclaimed.

It is early, no doubt. But some were doubting he’d even make the team. I’d have left all of this alone, but in the other thread, Judge Judy, whose life mission is to make sure I am never able to say I’m correct about anything came in with the “he already has” comment in the other thread.

I specifically tried to word that post so as not to draw any real attention, but of course, if I claim even a morsel of AOTCedness, JJ has to interject.
