I am pretty darn sure we don't all agree, but Biden is more or less a Democrat Bob Dole. He is an old school pragmatist;  a doer, not a talker, thinker, or ideologue. Top notch on the stump; terrible in front of a camera.

The hard right, with their list of demands, acts a lot like the squad. I think the squad might be saner.

This rhetoric about spending money we don't have is bs. Every Republican since Reagan has increased the deficit via tax cuts and borrow & spend. While there were true supply side believers, some Reagan insiders saw it as a devious way to starve government programs that help people.

How about the Dems nominate Liz Cheney for Speaker?  I'll bet they could poach 6 elephants for her.  Don't care much for her political priorities but, she'd at least attempt to govern and keep the nut jobs in check.

Not a requirement. Speaker has always been a House member, but it’s more of a tradition than a requirement. Some Republicans have said they should vote Trump in as House Speaker.
