What even is truth social?

It was Trump's answer to Twitter. Supposed to be an oasis of free speech in the desert of liberal censorship.

I imagine gay couples go public for the same reasons as straight couples. Why would gay relationships be deeply personal and private in the closet;  while straight relationship are very public and legally recognized?

I am pretty sure the gays who march naked as a form of protest are a minority. The ones I have met were mostly prudish and persnickety They don't like off color jokes, dress well, have fussy table manners, etc.

Plenty of  women popping their tops at Mardi Gras, Kentucky Derby, Wrigley Bleachers. I know a guy who met his wife in the bleachers - we can all say we've seen her tits.

I think the problem for people like Custard isn't that it's *gay* nudity - it's that it's *male* nudity.

Darn…I was so looking forward to a rainbow Tundra.

I think the LGBTQ community is learning that there is an insincere nature to Fortune 500 support for Pride Month, especially an auto manufacturer.  I saw this with corporate sponsorship of Earth Day events in the early 90s.  Toyota’s decision to "wave the white flag" will be a good thing in the long run.  LGBTQ groups are much better off seeking support for their events and programs from businesses, institutions and individuals at the local level.

The whole woke wave has crested and is crashing. Companies have realized that publicly supporting polarizing groups doesn’t offer any value to their organizations. It’s like sports franchises/programs that hire a mediocre minority coach just to check a box. But if you want to act like the LGBTQ groups are the ones who are distancing themselves, go right ahead.

I don’t really care who is naked. My problem is that these things are often billed as some kind of family event and people have their kids there seeing naked freaks. I have alum over here telling me I’m triggered because they’re clean and well dressed. Well actually it’s the exact opposite of that. I’m well dressed and clean, so I was triggered by how sleazy it all was. And that people had their kids out there watching it like it was a 4th of a July parade. IDGAF if people want to do shit like this or Mardi Gras or whatever, but let’s call it what it is—a hedonistic sexual display masquerading as some kind of “pride” celebration.

Are Pride parades billed as being family friendly? I always thought they were Mardi Gras-esq.

Once, while surfing the news, I came across an article something called body painting in New York City.

Apparently, naked male and female models get their entire bodies painted in public with children present. It gather it is considered artistic, not hedonistic or sexual.

Well public nudity is illegal, so maybe they should start enforcing the law and arrest those people if children are present…

In New York, there are several exceptions -- participating in a play, an exhibition, or some kind of protest.

They get a permit for an artistic exhibition, it is legal as long as there is no lewd or overt sexual conduct.

I would not bring  children.

If parents want bring their own children, how is it any of  my business or your business?

Some apparently have family friendly sections. If it's me; I would want to know how they define family friendly.

People in the US have to be 18 to have access to nude material but if parents want to get their kids involved in public nude painting or watching some Kansas City faggot dancing around in nothing but a bedazzled tube sock, then have at it I guess.

Can you point me to that law? What I am reading is that it is illegal to make pornographic material available to minors via mail, Internet, etc.

The definition of minor varies with the statute -- 16, 17, or 18.

For minors there's a different test than for adults: "The standard of what is harmful to minors may differ from the standard applied to adults.  Harmful materials for minors include any communication consisting of nudity, sex or excretion that (i) appeals to the prurient interest of minors, (ii) is patently offensive to prevailing standards in the adult community with respect to what is suitable material for minors, (iii) and lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value for minors."
