lol pretty retarded take
there's a place I go to once in a while called beernv, they have about 60 beers on tap and you can order a 4oz, 8oz or 16oz of anything, including the crazy 15% ABV beers
I usually order a small if its something strong, one those generally aren't "drinking" beers where you can have a bunch and two, a smaller glass keeps it cold the whole time, and well a 4oz is like $2-3 so its easy to spend very little and get a buzz there lol
and yeah I know english beers are different and don't taste as bad warm but still, this is pretty dumb
I'll say this - this bullshit would never play in Nevada because if you like to tip back a pint, Nevada is pretty much paradise.
I had a phase - before the prevalence of all thes 16 ounce four packs in brightly colored packaging - where I declared I would only drink beer I could get on tap in growlers. Only to find out California had this bullshit law that places that sell beer in growlers could only refill their own glassware. This led me to having like 7 different growlers and I always had to have the right one.
Meanwhile, in Tahoe (NV side), Dart Liquors has a taproom in the back. You can buy a pint and drink it on premises - in the liquor store - and you can fill growlers, doesn't matter whose growler. And they had Pliny, Racer 5, and Icky on tap. Growlers are like $8 for the fill, maybe $10 for Pliny.
Sadly though the Lakeside Casino next door to Dart has closed - that place had Happy Hour from 2-6 and 10 PM-4 AM, right before COVID it was $2 pints, they had Sculpin, Fresh Squeezed, Icky.
