Never knew the word “cyclist” could carry so much baggage.
The funny thing is most people who ride bikes do not refer to themselves as “cyclists.” They don't own a lightweight road bike or wear spandex outfits. Many don’t wear a helmet or clip into their pedals while riding. They’ve simply discovered that a bike is a good, cheap way to get around town, such as commuting to work, running errands and visiting friends. It's also a simple way to fit a little exercise into your daily routine.
