Ask Tempo. He thinks Miller fails at a higher level than Underwood has achieved.

So anyway; as I said, it’s unquestionably true. Miller goes to 4 or 5 Elite 8s (and like 3 more S16s) and is viewed by some as a “failure.”

Underwood has won 2 NCAA games at 3 programs and somehow leapfrogs Miller’s success (or in this case, even “failures”). Explain to me how that makes sense.

Interesting spin.

Interesting spin.
It's applied logic.

You also said Weber is a better coach than Lon Kruger.

Kruger is a good guy and competent college coach but not in Henson's class, much less Self's.

Weber?

No. You’re really bad at extrapolating. No wonder you don’t actually practice law.

When Tempo falls in love, he falls hard.

Just rebut the facts at hand.

Nah.  I give zero fucks about Sean Miller.  I don't fall in love, or lust, with basketball coaches.

I’m not “in love” with Sean Miller. He obviously has baggage. It’s just undeniable he’s eons above Underwood when it comes to accomplishments.

Kinda like all those championships on Bruce Weber's résumé.

National coach of the year. Final Four. Elite Eight.

Is he the best ever to coach at Illinois?

Where has Weber ever enjoyed sustained success out of SIU? His ceiling is as a very good 2nd tier Midmajor coach. That, is not/was not Sean Miller’s ceiling. Weber never enjoyed a 6 year period like Miller had from ‘11-‘18. Miller is a bonafide top dozen or so coach in NCAA high major basketball (albeit with baggage). Weber is no such thing, no matter how many awards he won off the back of Bill Self.

Rob does bring up an interesting point though. I guess it could be argued Bruce Weber fails at a level higher than Underwood achieves.
