Until illinois plays dirty or pays a hell of a lot more $ for players dont expect much sucess.   The clean illinment ways has always been the issue here.

Underwhelm is a huge problem too in this mess of an off season.  After u get punked by loyola....3 of your assistants coaches leave for not a head coaching position yet another assistant coach position. What???  Miller leaves.  Kofi decides to transfer.  Underwhelm hires his son.  What????  Big time problems.

I found a PS4 and a copy of 2K (2017) in a dumpster a couple of weeks ago. Plus 5 other games.

I sold them to a local game shop for $114

Personally, I appreciate the relative transparency of the NIL system vs. the old model. It used to be simply guessing whether we were getting outbid for players. Now we know for sure.

Will be interesting to see the data after a year as to what the players make in different programs.
Can’t say I have any fcking idea how this will all work, but if there is a way to game the system by the programs with big money behind them it will be found.

Dunno, but the NCAA may have a difficult time convincing the average fan that the premise they have relied on of an equal playing field still exists.
