Guess is Anderson who left DePaul; or Randle or Ivey from NBA.
Other boards also very indignant if anyone questions Hulka, our program, or AD.

There is either no news or the leaks have been plugged.

The AD did  fuel speculation by saying it is going as planned and it is a timing issue.

NBA guy waiting until his team is eliminated from the playoffs?

Some other timing issue?

Order of most sensible new hire based on "timing" and other hiring criteria for a P-5 school looking for a new Asst Coach.

Ivey - Experience, wants to lead a program in college, has the NBA resume to sell, is still in playoffs-so timing has to wait.

Anderson-Cache with coaches in AAU/HS ball in Illinois and development of players proven already, timing is issue as he left for personal reasons....?

Randle- Connections obviously, NBA fast tracked so far, European experience (Tommy Lloyd type of recruiter maybe) and still in playoffs, so we have to wait?

Anyone else still in the playoffs with heavy coaching experience is not an option, most want NBA gigs, and there will be a few so why not wait and interview?

Wild Card - Hammon from Spurs, the TrailBlazers would be wise to hire her, and the name would fit obviously...she is due and has proven herself, way outta the college league however, she stays in the NBA.

Sooooo, we have Hulka's buddy from some junior college 20 years ago,  Chest Bump Chet, and Little Hulka.

At least none of these guys will leave.

Yes. One theory on other boards is he is still involved in playoffs so they can’t announce him.
The other NBA guy mentioned a lot was Ivey. His season is done and they are having Little Hulka fill in now, so it can’t be him. The other possibility being mentioned is Tim Anderson who apparently is training guys for draft so not available right now. I don’ t know a lot about him and whether he did well at DePaul or not.

Who knows. Whoever it is has another commitment of some type right now.

Well nether Chet or Alexander, or Little Hulka has ever recruited a Top 150 guy. They may be going all in on the loyalty route.
I have to say having your college age kid do recruiting at a P5 program is pretty strange.

Maybe they will surprise. Maybe it will all work out fine. We will make tourney this year I am pretty sure.
It doesn't take a lot to do that most years.
Grab a couple Top 100-150 kids each year. Fill in with a transfer and/or Top 200 kid you develop. Don't fuck it up. Finish .500 in BT. You are a 9/10 seed. This isn't hard.
