Hawkins seems to have some helter skelter Alan Griffin in him. Jobu and Hawkins on the floor together would give us some size.

Why would he transfer to bumfck Central  Ilinois to be recruited over and be a backup for two more years. This kid will get starter minutes.

Jobu doesn't need to score much. Just protect the rim and get garbage buckets and guard.

Baylor has shown us all season that having bigs that can switch and defend multiple positions is very valuable even if they aren’t prime offensive threats. By no means do I want Jobu Payne to be our best 5, but anyone who has watched this tournament should understand that being reliant on a big relatively slow guy in the middle is not conducive to tourney success. We need excellent guards and forwards mixed with guys like Vital and EDJ.

Edited original post to indicate that BBV returning.

Not clear as to how many years he has left. Played 8 games this year in limited action so not sure why it says he has 4 years left.

I don't see those confirmed anywhere.
