I’ll fully admit that I’ve sort of been wrong in my season-long faith in Rutgers. They seem to be less than the sum of their parts for too often. It was impossible for me to know this prior to the season so I won’t be too hard on myself.

They’ve three good guards, a very serviceable big man, a couple pick and pop wings that defend and rebound. That’s usually a pretty good recipe for tourney play.

Clemson isn’t garbage but I expected this Rutgers team to have a little spark in the tourney.

While I don’t want to overlook Loyola (though I agree with Jobu’s sodomy assessment) I’m looking at the Sweet 16 and I think as long as we play OSU then we win, otherwise I’m worried

????
Who would worry you then in S16 game other than OSU? Oregon State??

You were behind the curve. But on the other hand, you were kind of right.

The tOSU choke was pretty epic.  Not terribly surprised by MSU losing to UCLA and was anyone at all excited about this Purdue team going into tourney? And Purdue is famous for sucking in the tourney.

This is the Gene Keady thing all over again. Painter gets tons of props for his coaching chops and it’s hard to argue. They compete for conference titles by game planning familiar foes. They muck up the game and force their opponents to defend for 20+ seconds...a good way to get into the top half of B1G regular season but falls flat in tourney play.

It would have been embarrassing if WVU lost to More Anal State.

WVA has looked pretty good at different times. Played Gonzaga close. Could have beaten Baylor.
Hard to figure. If we get them we do not want to see the good WVA.

Liddell needs a football photoshopped into his hands, and captioned with "a field goal would have sent it to a 2nd OT, but Washington just came up short"
