Just curious if this is something you’re doing yourself or pulling from somewhere?

LOL. My own ignorant opinions. Feel free to ignore.....

If you want to see what "expert site consensus" might be check out the Bracket Matrix.
Has UM as a 1 seed, and Iowa as 2. Wisconsin is a 3. OSU and us are a 4. Minny is a 5.  :o

http://www.bracketmatrix.com/

Here is some interesting info. We have an RPI of 46. Iowa is 53.

Looks like the average for the last several years hovers in the 35%+ range for conference game road wins.
If I count correctly, there are 25 road wins in 60 conference games so far this season. 42%.
With no home crowds, if you don't in the words of Dabo Swinney 'bring your own guts' you have a chance for a home loss. Rutgers goes to Bloomington to get a win last night and we managed to rack up a couple of leave your guts at home games recently.

The 2019-2020 .200 is from Jan 23, 2020.

I’ve been enjoying reading them. I just wasn’t clear if it was your own opinion, something you’d been reading somewhere and were sharing here, or some amalgam.

The NCAA Tournament is all about matchups. Until the seedings and brackets are released (and key injuries known), hard to say which teams should be Final Four picks or 12/5 upset waiting to happen.

All it takes is a bad draw, even for an otherwise decent team. What team with legitimate aspirations of a Final Four run wants to be in the same bracket as Gonzaga or Baylor for this tournament?

I have to wonder how much the NCAA still uses the RPI??

Agree. For Baylor and Gonzaga- it is basically an 8 team/3 wins needed for the title tourney.
For everybody else it is a total crap shoot.

Another unknown is what will happen in the ACC and SEC basketball tournaments. If it was Selection Sunday yesterday, Duke (5-5, 3 straight losses) and UK (5-9) would have likely missed the NCAA Tournament (assuming it will be held). Neither team has played well this season, especially compared with their recent past editions. But there's still time for one or both to qualify because of conference tournaments. The ACC Tournament was moved from Washington, DC to Greensboro, NC, where Duke has won 8 conference titles. The SEC Tournament will be played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. UK has won 3 out of the past 4 SEC tournaments played there. Let's say those teams start playing up to their potential, get on a roll, and win their respective conference tournament in March. Now we're talking about potentially very dangerous teams that likely have a few McD's HS All Americans on their rosters. And who doesn't think Duke (via Coach Krybaby) would get several calls (or non-calls) from the officials that no other team (coach) would?
