Dickinson kept multiple plays alive with tips and taps that didn’t even seem like they were possible until he did them. Seemed like he had Stretch Armstrong arms. Wisconsin was also passive and not in position.
I think Kofi can more than match him but as is often the case with big men in college basketball it’ll likely come down to officiating. If we make up the game @Ann Arbor and get the normal B1G home cooking, it’s going to be tough sledding.
With their size advantage, Kofi is going to have to help more than we’d like when their bigger wings post up or get going downhill. That then frees Dickinson, puts Kofi out of rebounding position, and forces our smaller players to grab boards against Dickinson and those big wings. Could see second chance points being a big issue in the matchup but think we would fare better than Wisconsin did down the stretch of today’s game.
Their length is going to bother us no matter where we play them as that’s been a problem all season long for this team. Thus I don’t see a position on the floor (other than Ayo’s) where we have a clear personnel advantage on either end of the floor unless Kofi is allowed to be physical on both ends.
