Grandison perfect from the floor. 7 points and 7 rebounds in 15 minutes. Played hard. Good game.

Thought that early three got him settled down maybe and was solid after that.  Miller didn't do too bad either.  Going from 15 down to 17 up on the road after dropping 3 of our last 5.  Great recovery game. We need to carry this effort over into annihilating Indiana.

What a beautiful game to watch offensively. We got guys who can score the rock.

Grandison gets the game ball tonight. Kid was huge for us.

We hit our FTs too! 23/28 from the stripe. Very nice to see.

If you like defense, this isn't the game for you.

Defense was good and bad at times, offense was better. I think the rule changes around offensive freedom of movement and shot clock are finally starting to show up in the product in the court.

Over the last 10+ years, the B1G schedule required programs to build these big slow plodding teams that can grind out ugly games. Then you accidentally see a Carolina or Kansas game and you see transition scoring and dunks and lots of points.

It’s no wonder the McDAA types haven’t wanted to play in the B1G. The conference turned basketball into a grind-it-out possession by possession game like football.

We spent a lot of last decade near the bottom of the B1G where sub par teams intentionally try to make it ugly to give themselves a chance to win. Games like this one or the Rutgers game sometimes look like bad defense because we got used to watching absolute shit for over a decade.

These games are reminding me a lot more of 1989 than 1999 or 2009 and that’s awesome. CBB is a much more palatable product when teams spend more time in transition and there’s more scoring and blocking and dunking.

Will take any road win in BIG right now. Fck, will take any home win.
Grandison played well, got on the floor, hit shots. Would be nice if he can become an option, especially with Miller struggling.
Miller minutes going down and his defense even on simple balls screens is atrocious. But entire team looks like they have never seen a pick and roll in their life.

Better offensive effort. Curbelo got us going. Kid is a magician.
