The 2026 Masters

Sam Burns and Rory leading at -5. I thought Rory would be too distracted with all of the additional responsibilities of being defending champion and be inclined to victory lap it. Not the case after day 1.

Justin Rose another good start. Attempted cop killer Scottie Scheffler lurking a few shots back after a hot start.

My DFS lineups not looking so good off the bat. A million dollars to 1st in the big contest.

Weather is benign but the course is playing firm and fast.

Fred Couples had a great start but quadrupled 15, then doubled 16 and 17. SMH

Rory dominating the field to this point. 6 shot lead heading into the weekend. Most strokes gained from holes 12-18 in tournament history. Tiger in ‘97 #2.

Group text popped up with some buddies back home to do a masters pool but didn’t have a chance to get my picks locked in prior to 8 am Thursday am due to some travel. Would have made it more fun to follow this weekend

Rory finally makes a birdie on 10. Leads cam Young by two. Lots of guys were closing in, but a couple have backslid a bit.
