You sure? He shot 35 3s this year and 0 at Illinois. 35 isn’t a shitload, but it’s a lot compared to zero.

He couldn’t defend without fouling early in the season. Earned more minutes later but we didn’t need him shooting threes. I think we would have worked him up to that eventually. What it came down to was that Michigan contacted him through back channels while the season was still going on and found out what Illinois was offering him for NIL, then offered him a whole bunch more. Dad felt slighted Illinois wasn’t offering more and didn’t even give us a chance to counteroffer. Basically they cited development/role so it didn’t sound like it was all about the Benjamins, but it always is.

Grange, have a couple of buddies out in Vegas for TOHTTM. Said the number of Denver fans there dwarfed by Michigan, Whisky, and NoDak fans!

I don't doubt that Morez got paid and it was largely about money, but I believe the grievance about not playing on the perimeter or as freely. I don't think it's a rational complaint for a freshman 4, but he's a different player at Michigan.

Rez made the right decision regardless of reason for him. The ILLINI faired well also, I would argue that without Mara and more importantly Yaxel, that same decision would not have aged as well....but good for him. He will get drafted, Fichigan may have to start all over again.

Thanks!  I hope all the Frosh have enough left in the tank.
