And so can you!

I don’t think Iran’s current leadership, probably a mix of clerics and Iranian Revolutionary Guard members, is looking at Venezuela.  However, it is probable that they recall the events of seventy years ago, when the United States and Britain orchestrated a coup to topple Iran’s prime minister (aka "Operation Ajax").

In the span of a few days Trump has gone from saying this will be a quick war, less than 4 weeks, to now saying it can go on forever.  He went from claiming Iran wants to negotiate to saying it’s too late for negotiations.

Iran appears unwilling to negotiate, and we don't have enough munitions to fight forever.  Looks like their strategy is to disrupt oil and gas infrastructure in the region, close the Strait of Hormuz and drive up global energy prices and inflation.

You think we’ll run out of munitions and need their oil?

Never said they were. They were, allegedly, not negotiating. Between that, Venezuela, and Trump having Sec Drinky move assets to the Gulf, they should have realized Trump was not bluffing.

Except they were negotiating. They’d made every reasonable concession. What they were being told to do was regime change and give up their main form of self defense, their ICBMS. No fucking way they were doing that.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL this is a worse succession plan than hiring Chris Getz to replace Rick and Kenny.

If this happened under Obama or Biden, it would be a national scandal on the scale of “Benghazi!”

So you are admitting they refused to negotiate on certain issues. Guess they didn't read the room very well.

Them: 'you want us to give up our ICBMs ? '

Us: 'yep'

Them: 'over our dead bodies'

Us: 'if you say so'

Tempo: 'the ICBMs were only for their self-defense'

Oddly enough, even the failing New York Times managed to put together a morning email that outlined the reasoning, strategy, and goals behind the strike on Iran. The White House sent a letter to Congress and there have been briefings. Tempo claims this info isn’t out there.

The big irony here is that this hard line hard right administration in the US is out there asking the people of Iran to overthrow their hard right government- like I mean, what people would want to be under the yoke of a hardline government, surely they don’t like it!

Was really considerate of The White House to notify Congress with a letter a few days after bombing began.

Usually you’d consult Congress, or make your case before bombing.

Would that apply to previous Presidents ? Or just to Trump ?
