Tempo wasn't paying attention back then.

That’s a weird comment. I was absolutely paying attention back then.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

You admitted you were not paying attention.

You admitted you were not paying attention.

You literally have zero reading comprehension. I said I wasn’t paying that close attention the last few years, mostly during the Biden administration. The U.S. started leaking jobs decades before that.

I largely took a break from politics after the Trump administration. I followed, just not super closely and wasn’t getting into nearly as many political conversations.

You went further back than that. You also admitted to being a Republican.

Prove it.

I was actually more of a conservative than a Republican. I supported Ross Perot and Pat Buchanan in the 90s. I voted mostly Republican in the early aughts after The Reform Party pretty much died off. I started to turn left in in my politics around 2002-2003 (I was ok with going into Afghanistan, I opposed The Iraq War). John Kerry was the first Democrat I supported for President. I was turned into a populist by AM talk radio in the mid 90s.

Though I never really listened to Rush. I guess I was more of a conservative leaning populist. I was turned into a conspiracy theorist by Chuck Harder who had a program called “For the People.” Although I related to different types of guests. He had left and right guests on. Ralph Nader was a regular guest and I always looked forward to Ralph’s segments. And Pat Choate, Perot’s ‘96 running mate was a regular guest to. I probably got a little more conservative for a few years when Pat Buchanan was the figurehead of the party.

I was very anti-free trade then. It was my biggest issue along with campaign finance reform, which remains my biggest issue today (along with Medicare for All).

I’d be willing to bet a lot of pastors and rabbis would prove that comment wrong.
