Probably so. He has already said specifically he doesn’t intend to try and replicate the Wisconsin formula here. He threw the ball quite a bit more at Arkansas than he did at Wisconsin so it isn’t like he’s married to some ground and pound principle. Some of his Wisconsin teams put up some insane points. He also says he plans to run a 3-4 defense rather than the 4-3 he ran at UW.

I expect our teams under him to be tough and physical with a balanced offensive attack.

Got to thinking Bert should probably start running with Josh but maybe limit it to like 50-100 yards at first.

That's probably good given the relative recruiting position we are in.

One of my distributors in northern IL has the same last name. He called in an order today and when I answered I jokingly told him congratulations for his cousin being named head coach of Illinois football.

He said, “You’re about the fifth person that’s said that to me. I don’t even follow Illinois football. But we actually are cousins.  Our grandfathers were brothers.”

I saw a Barstool Carl thing where he went to a Bears party and it was really awkward and one of the comments was something along the lines of, “I kinda get the feeling you weren’t actually invited to this party” and it perfectly summed up what I was feeling.
