ILLINI heavily favored -8.5, seems a little low, especially if Martinelli has an average game or worse. Would not surprise me to see Mirk and him mix it up at some point. He is easy to dislike on that team.

89-72 ILLINI win.

NW steals/Rebound averages take a hit tonight. Wagler/Boswell might be Top 3 backcourts combined in the nation. They will both have big games tonight.

Andrej follow up game of 17pts
Wagler again with a good game of 18, 5 Rbs, 5 Asst, 3 Stl.
Boswell gets 17 as well and makes a lot of driving easy hoops.
Mirk gets us 12-12 tonight along with 2-3 assists
Tomi goes for 10 and 10 yes 2 double doubles
Big Z has 10 and 4 blocks for us

Bench scores the difference for us...easy win, but frustrating with the way Collins coaches and they play.

6-5 score at that time should have been 12-5, 22% from 3 with 18 already....HUGE height advantages everywhere....take it to the paint, DAMN.



Martinelli "block" call was by definition a block, by logic a bailout. Otherwise Refs, lettin em play a little tonight, wait to see how many over the backs are called on the ILLINI after Collins complains at the half.

Staff learned something at Iowa....the appeal for a flagrant. Good job staff, all 10 of you...LOL

Boswell showing once again, why he IS the man who runs this team...Wagler is the boy wonder though!!

Got back far enough south to get out of the snow but it’s cold and bitter and windy. I’ve gotten to be such a pussy about the cold since I moved south. But warm inside Harry’s Chocolate Shop on Purdue Campus! Only guy here in Illini gear!
