Not sure it reaches the level of golden era, but beating up on teams you should beat is a good bar for Illinois. Good win!

Yes we are in a golden era of UI football when there are B1G teams “we should beat” and we dominate them.

I remember years we couldn’t even beat the cupcakes on the schedule.
