Yeah that last season was laughably bad, the rest was pretty good though from what I remember

We started when it was 3 or so seasons in, and when we found it, we binged watched it. Back then, Netflix was still DVDs, and you could have 3 DVDs at a time, LOST had 3 episodes per DVD. We'd mow through 9 episodes and not want to wait for the round trip in the mail of a new DVD, so we'd go rent it at a Video store.
Finally we caught up to the broadcast schedule, and we'd watch it live like old school. The last season just started getting muddled, bad, and no way they could tie up all the loose ends. My wife fell asleep in the series finale, and when it was done, I told her "Don't bother watching it, the finale sucked". After all that time and investment, didn't even want to watch the end.
That was the exact same thing that happened with House of Cards. The whole last season was unwatchable.
This was the genius of Breaking Bad, the last season crescendoed into a very satisfying ending.
