We got em reeling now. That's the most points they've given up this year.

Held OSU under 300 yards of total offense. Three turnovers, really four if you include the punter taking a knee on 4th, were too much to overcome. OSU scored 21 points off those miscues. Had to play perfect in order to knock off the #1 and defending champs and we didn't come close.

But at least they didn't run us off the field like the Hoosiers did. That's a solid John Groce moral victory in my book.

I'll go with 7 yeps, and finish with a nope for the moral victory part.

Golden era of Illini football here

He meant IU.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Big crowd. Bad performance. Fun time. Expected more out of both teams.

Unforced errors had us DOA—We weren’t outclassed in this game. Was weird having a game start at 9 am, woke up right at kickoff. Just glad it was a respectable loss, we have two of them to legit top 5 teams. Favorable schedule and a bye ahead. Let’s win out.

He meant IU.

It’s objectively the best stretch of Illinois football since the late 80s, needledick.

This. We’ll be all right. Our two losses are very respectable (blow out at IU included). If those are our only two I’ll be extremely happy…

I mean shit, Indiana won AT Oregon. They would have to completely fall apart not to be in the playoff. Indiana/OSU for the Big 10 title could be for the #1 seed.

63-10 is “very respectable?”

I mean, it’s nice to be respectable, golden era might be stretching it.

In the big picture it’s not a big deal. We’re building a program, two losses to the two best teams in the B1G (maybe the nation) isn’t gonna change that Bielema is doing a good job at that…

Let's learn from the mistakes.
The defense played better than expected and the offense was able to put up some points. We turned the ball over against a good defense but that's what good defenses can do.

At the end of the year nobody will remember the game at Indiana if the Hoosiers keep playing the way they are other than it was a road loss.
Work on valuing the ball and get healthy for the trip to Seattle. We're still looking at the possibility of 9-3 or 10-2.
