Was hoping Tim Ryan and Johnny Morris would be on the call, but, nope, we get Spero Dedes (play-by-play), Adam Archuleta (analyst), and Aditi Kinkhabwala (sideline) instead. That sucks.

The Raiders aren’t great in the least bit, but I think there’s a lot we can learn this week. Jeanty has been bad so if he lights up the Bears then our run defense is as bad as I fear it might be. Raiders will give it to you through the air, so Caleb should be in line for another good outing.

Darnell Wright looks to be out. He was the worst graded Olineman last week. Do we have anyone that can block Maxx Crosby?

Can the Bears string together two wins against bad teams? I think they do.27-17 Bears.

If he were a defensive player or almost any other position outside of pass catcher it would be easier to judge him (so far). We still have a quarterback learning how to distribute the ball (accurately) to a crowded field of pass catchers. Is he being schemed for and have we prioritized getting him the ball? Doesn’t seem so. A lot of mouths to feed on our receiving corps.


But too early declare hits and misses. Right now Jeanty looks like a bust. Will he look like a bust this time next year? Who knows, he may be leading the league in rushing.

It’s just egregious to spend a top-10 pick on him and not involve him and he doesn’t even play is the problem. No reason he can’t be schemed for like Warren is in Indy. Says more about front office and coaching than the player…
