I mean I know they started there and I know their music but I never dug into it any further. Most of their hits came out before I was born. My college barber was a roadie for Head East though!

I sort of know the original lead singer. After leaving REO, he was in a band with my late grade school classmate.

I don’t know the band members of other pop rock bands that reached the peak of their popularity before I was born, like Styx, Rush, Journey, or Foreigner, either. Thank goodness for the Steve Miller Band!
