New article out on the incident...Peoria News. Metal Health is the issue for the deceased according to Mom. Police should have dealt with that instead of reacting to one officer getting hit with the bat....the other shooting him.

Sort of the same general idea. TM is derived from a branch of Hinduism. Their mantras are Sanskrit seed syllables. Buddhism kind of touches touches on those. 

Buddhist meditation is more immanent, not transcendent. It consists of right effort [cultivation], right mindfulness, and right concentration.

The bulk of Buddhist practice for most lay people amounts to devotional chanting and prayers.
