Granted, I’ve never heard of this guy, but he was good enough to qualify for the U.S. Open. This is the front 9 he’s having. I’m thinking the course might be playing tough.

Damn. Looks like the back nine my first time out this spring.

The US Open is meant to be tough. Why are you bullying the guy in last place by 6 strokes ?

Poor George had a tough time today too. He's at 35 over.

Illini product Thomas Detry sitting among the leaders after two rounds. I put him in a couple of my DFS lineups but didn't load up on him as he almost always burns me.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Not sure how he did on the back nine (I have an idea), but George made a double on 8 (the hole he was on when I shared his scorecard).

I think they've got it a little too tricked up. The world's top 10 players are a combined 40 over after two rounds.

The rough shouldn't be as thick as it is. Even with more manageable rough those greens are so fast and have so much undulation (Augusta pales in comparison), the approach shot would still be a challenge.

Yep. There have been plenty of shots that have turned out bad when the ball stops rolling.
It's similar to the officials controlling the outcome of the game rather than the players.

Holy shit hit the ball in the short grass, what a concept! Everyone was bitching about bomb and gouge a while back and now we are bitching about guys being penalized for missing the fairway. There’s no victim tempo won’t side with.

“I think the rough is a bit tricked up, the course would play very tough even with slightly less rough.”

And if the rough were a little bit shorter it would provide for and encourage riskier approach shots. With those greens and that speed, only the best shots would hold. If this place had any wind this week the winning score would be +13.

What difference does it make? Everyone is playing the same course....

Yeah, but you want a test that’s tough but fair. This course is borderline unfair.
