The gofers made a move up in the published conference salary pay scale, moving from last place with Ben Johnson's $1.95 million salary all the way up to possibly last place with Niko Medved's $3 million per year.

I had read that gofer combined NIL for Pharrell Payne (TAM) and Elijah Hawkins ( Tx Tech) was $1.4 million.
Payne averaged 10.4 points with 5.1 boards this year for the Aggies.
Hawkins averaged 9.4 points with 6.5 turnovers a game. Strike that. 6.5 assists per game with 1.9 turnovers per game for the Red Raiders.

KJ (the injury hurt him) had 156 assists with 123 turnovers. Hawkins had 214 assists with 63 turnovers.

No point being made. They're different players on different teams in different conferences, but just tossing out numbers.

Williams to Maryland, he has interest, recently reported. (8 seniors this year so, jump ship)? Buyout is only 1 mil as of Tuesday.

Underwood to Texas A/M to take over Aggies, huge buyout...Aggies would have deep pockets?

MAKE HUGE OFFER to Chris Beard to come to ILLINOIS!

Offer Chris Collins as a backup, or go all in on Will Wade who just signed with NC State, Whitman can poach him for sure.

Yea but then he would have to go through how phil-osphical avenue the whole culture would have to go too. Daily Zen meetings, at least 1 reading a month as a group of say Nietzsche, to have a full understanding of the main and suffering that goes with being an ILLINI or a fan. Don’t see Chester coming back here while Underwood is coach, and not sure he was that much of a rock star anyways. Wasn’t he a defensive coach on the squad that just tried to outscore everyone last year? Need to for sure jettison Hamer and get a proven defensive guy like a Yaklich. Not sure Tyler can withstand the shit storm that’s unfolding on socials right now, but it may only strengthen Brad’s resolve. 🤣

I was joking. Well maybe half joking, but if there's trouble on the practice floor then BU strengthening his "resolve" may not be the best approach.
