And they got their asses fully fucked and kicked this past Sunday.

Oh, the Packers. Hmm. They may be going from meh to really damn good. They were 11-6 last year, and they're trying to improve on that.

The recency bias is strong with this one. I guess the last 2 1/2 seasons don’t count for anything.

I expected them to take a dip. They lost an all-pro center and two great coordinators. You’re the one complaining that I’m too hard on the Bears after one game yet you’re not willing to let a proven franchise have an off day after major changes. Hmmmmm agenda much?

11-6 is “meh?” That’s a pretty darn good football team. Teams have won the Super Bowl with worse records.

Bottom line here, Tempo. Nobody really knows. Especially after week 1. Maybe they'll be good, maybe they won't. We don't know. If we knew, fantasy football would be super easy.

I don't know, and neither do you. Fair, don't ya think?

If the Bears were 11-6 meh most years we’d be shitting in tall cotton.

True, they have. But did that Packer team look like a super bowl team to you?

Doesn't matter lol.

I honestly never expected much out of them because they can't fucking play outdoors. They're like Tampa or Miami, but in a much shittier part of the country.

Although lately, Florida is about as bad as Detroit

Wouldn’t be surprised if they are, wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t.

I’m not out on anyone after last night, but I will call a spade a spade. A LOT of people were bad. Hopefully it’s some measure of consolation to PAMan that my ire at Poles and Montez has kicked up a hair since last night. Caleb isn’t the only reason we lost, but if he can make even one of those passes connect, it could have been a win. Last night was tough to watch, but I have full faith and confidence in Ben Johnson.

That’s a good point. Goff has struggled mightily in the elements throughout his career. Dan Campbell cost them a SB berth two years ago with his ultra-aggressiveness (the PAMan who is usually a strict judge) has continuously let him off the hook. Success for most franchises is usually fleeting.

Yes. But they haven't been.

Right, but my point is 11-6 isn’t meh. That wins you a division probably 1 out of 3 times, maybe more.

That is totally fair and I agree with this 100%.

It gets you in the playoffs about 99% of the time.

It gets you in the playoffs about 99% of the time.

And 60% of the time, it works every time

Uh, the White Sox have done everything wrong, and it wasn't hard to see that. Come on, man. Who anywhere said the White Sox were going to be good with the moves they have made.

You're reaching.

I’m talking about the Kenny years when they “were trying to win every year.” It resulted in a lot of mediocrity.
