The 2022 Bears were clearly never making the playoffs. That season was about getting younger and fixing the cap space. Anything else was a bonus.

“You can get good real quick if you know what you are doing.” Believe me, getting good real quick doesn’t happen a lot. The ground work is laid out over several seasons. In 2021, the Bears were old, lacking talent, and very expensive. Really hard to “get good real quick” inheriting that.

I never said it happens a lot. It does happen, tho. You can get good real quick if you know what you are doing. The good organizations separate themselves from the bad organizations by doing this.
