What the NarrativeMan doesn’t seem to understand is that if Poles were “neuteredl” or “replaced” by Johnson, there would be zero incentive to extend Poles AFTER signing Johnson. Anyone with basic fucking common sense would understand this.

If what the NarrativeMan says were true, they’d have brought in a Ben Johnson stooge to be “GM.” They would not have extended Poles.

Having said that, of course Ben Johnson is going to have significant input into who comes here/is drafted. Would be moronic not to allow him to build the team in his vision.
