Liam Coen intrigues me if we miss on Ben Johnson.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Another Tempo Myth, that Bears were set up and Williams landed in the bestest 1-1 spot as a QB, BUSTED!!!

Peyton Manning doesn't hold back criticism of Bears handling of Caleb Williams https://share.google/muGkmFiOtCJvd3ZZp

"Take the last two drafts, Manning says. Chicago’s Caleb Williams and Carolina’s Bryce Young, the No. 1 picks in 2024 and 2023, respectively, enter this season on their second head coach — third if you count interims — and third play caller. So far, all they know in the NFL is turnover.

'I just wish a team would admit, ‘OK, we need a quarterback this year, but we’re not 100 percent sure our coach is the right guy, so we’re not gonna bring him into this,' Manning continues. “Of course, they always draft the quarterback.

'Those teams were not ready,' he says of the Bears and Panthers. 'That’s just how I feel.'”

Yet Tempo said there were reasons to being back Eberlose....

ThePATheyXeXem wins again. At this point, I am the Harlem Globetrotters to Tempo's Washington Generals.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

A lot to unpack here:

first off, I’ll start by saying this is the same guy who in the last 24 hours as harangued me about how the Bears signing Bagent to a $10 million dollar deal is a sure signal they don’t believe in Caleb.

Secondly, Manning said “those teams weren’t ready yet.” Ok, sure. Ready for what? Ready to win a Super Bowl? Duh, no shit. When it comes to “best situation ever for an overall #1” the bar is quite low. That’s why those teams are drafting in the top spot.

Thirdly, for the millionth time, PAMan is allowing excuses for Caleb that Justin never got the benefit of, not even for one second. And Justin had a much worse roster when he became the starter.

Queue the “But Getsy was so much better than Waldron!” narrative. Both turned out to be trash, but at least Shane Waldron had a track record of running a competent NFL offense. “It was because of Marshawn Lynch! I mean, they ran the Marshawn Lynch playbook!”
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Also, again PAMan misquotes me (and it’s well documented how much he hates being misquoted). What I said specifically is that you could make a case to bring back Eberflus if you were looking to do so. I also don’t feel there was any chance George was firing him last year. Not when they “showed improvement” and the defense looked to be up and coming.

What I also said many times that he loves to gloss over is that if they were changing quarterbacks, they should bring in a new coach. He conveniently leaves that part out of our “discussions.”

Let me know when the Bear do....the Bengals and Browns? Really? Why are the Viking and Ram on that list?

Thanks for bumping the thread, and proving I was right yet again.

Let's review:

Tempo said there were reasons to bring back Eberlose, like the D had a great end of the season.

ThePAMan said, no, the Bear were slaying bums at the end of that season, Eberlose sucked ass, and there was zero reason to being his sorry ass back.

Fact: Bear defense was not better last year, Eberlose routinely blew games, Eberlose ran a country club with guys talking to fans at end of games and Monty Sweat watching from the sidelines, and Williams went through 3 OCs last year.

Winner by Knockout, The PAMan!

The PAMan is Curly Neal, Meadowlark Lemon, and Marques Haynes to Tempo's Washington Generals and the fat ref that the Globetrotters always pranked on ABC's Wild World of Sports.

For a guy with very (extremely) specific rules about quoting people, you sure are lousy at quoting people properly.

The defense was still like 12th in points allowed (and respectable in most metrics). And that was with missing two key players much of the season. The defense underperformed a bit, but wasn’t what was killing the Bears last year.

And it’s also been alleged your guy Montez was playing hurt a lot of the year! 🤣
