Wright says with sea levels rising, seawater seeps into aquifers and freshwater wetlands, killing vegetation including trees. Irrigation dredging meant to drain water out of mass areas of land is now allowing the intrusion of saltwater, especially with rising storm surges, leading to the death of many trees far inland from the coast.

"They can persist 10-15 miles from the coast," Wright said about how far his research found Ghost Forests inland.

Whether threatening to pull military support is or isn't "bullying" is semantics. The fact is Trump intervened to raise gas prices when demand cratered. Which, if you had firing synapsis at the time it occured, you would know, because the fact oil was being given away was all over the damned news. The point was Trump was trying to get the Saudis to cut production to drive up the cost of oil and by extension, gasoline. That clearly relates to Fox now giving Trump credit for low prices. From the angle I saw, it looks like Biden got caught in the toe cage on the right pedal as he came to a stop to speak to well-wishers.  Falling off your bike when slowing or stopping is a rite of passage for many bicyclists. 

The consensus on the bicycling forums is that Biden should swap out the toe cages for a set of clipless pedals.  The cages can be notoriously challenging.   I stopped using them in the 90s.   

Now for some heavy-duty bike crashes:

Which reminds me: was getting a ride into the office today when some homeless looking fella on a Divvy-looking bike was yelling at an SUV in the right lane to get out of his way as he was riding the wrong way through the underpass for the LaSalle Street Station/Chicago Stock Exchange on Congress/Ida B. Wells Drive.  Felt bad for the lady driving the SUV as there was nowhere for her to go...
