I think the effectiveness was probably exaggerated in the beginning by some. Still pretty highly effective though. Much better than non-vaccination or “natural immunity.” Only the anti-science meatheads made an issue out of it not being “100%” effective.

Protection gained from having already had the virus was ridiculously downplayed even well after the science determined that the protection was as good as or better than any of the vaccines.

A bunch of journalists and scientists were banned and blackballed for pushing back against the claims of the big corporations that were controlling the narrative. But of course they aren’t reporting any of this in the left leaning media.

See, this is the problem in this day and age. People can now effectively cocoon themselves in whatever media they want to consume, because it agrees with their already preconceived notions of what is real and true. And then the algorithm just reinforces that, ad infinitum.

Anything else that doesn’t fit the mold causes cognitive dissonance and is dismissed as fake news or conspiracy theories or outright lies. “These are my accepted news outlets, and everyone else is just making shit up!”

Tempo routinely proves this theory to be true.

Yeah, I’m not sure about that. It says the protection rate was much reduced for Omicron. And the protection rate was about 78% from death from early variants (generalizing, there’s a ton to digest in those posts).

Seeing as how someone vaxxed and boosted was protected in the 90 percentile from all variants, I rate Custard’s claim: mostly false.
