Chicago Bears vs (formerly) Chicago Cardinals

This is it. This is a week in which the dam breaks, or Flus plugs the hole (at least temporarily). Lose this game and the Flus era is over at the end of the season. If Flus somehow manages to win 3 in a row he can still save his job. I think he can get the first two, the third will require beating the Packers. At least they are at home for that one. I’d almost rather have the Lions that game as history says the Bears own Jared Goff.

A lot of chatter this week from media and more importantly players. Not necessarily calling out the coaching directly but implying the accountability isn’t there. I guess “the loaf system” got scrapped? Good (I hated it anyway), but the accountability has to be there. This next game should tell us a lot.

Bears get two home games to start off the division schedule. Minnesota comes to town week 4 of the “Will Flus keep his job” tour. Then to Detroit. Win 3-4 in a row and this season is salvageable. I’d rather have Slowik next year, though.

As far as Flus is concerned, he’d probably be better off if that second division game was a road game. He just about has to go 4-0 the next 4 to save his job.

But we are Bearscentric here, not Flus centric. Should be interesting.

How many games has your guy Eberlose lost when the Bear have had an over 90% win expectancy in the 4th quarter?

Three of those were higher than 95%. Fucking loser coach.

I told you this a few days ago. And what makes him “my guy?”

You have defended your idiot since he has been here until now.

According to PFF:

Bears’ chances of making the playoffs with a win this week. 71%. With a loss, 41%.

Braxton Jones is out for sure. Larry Borom likely to start, his first week back off IR. Sweat did not practice but Mark Grote says he thinks he plays. Brisker still out. Almost certainly won’t play. Very concerning. Kyler Gordon sounds 50/50

Grote thinks Stevenson doesn’t start, but plays.

Tevin Jenkins who was looking pretty iffy yesterday appears trending towards playing.

IMO Stevenson needs to be inactive today and put his name on the trade market.

Guess we got the click bait version of the story from Glazer.

No Montez, no Kyler, no, Brisker, no BJax.

PAMan is upset.
