If I'm not mistaken, you took Jobu's side (burn it all down again) because the team is hopeless. Then said I couldn't have an informed opinion (things aren't as bad as they seem) because I didn't watch the game yesterday. What am I getting wrong here?

The Packer had 6 possessions: 3 TDs. 1 Int at the goal line. 1 turnover on downs inside the 5. At least 5 possessions they went 60 yards. Borderline elite D!

Your takes are actually better when you don't watch the game though!

According to ESPN the Bears are 5th as a team in pass win rate. They were also missing a key player on the line. And I'm hearing Sweat might be playing hurt.

LOL. Sweat might also suck ass. Poles too busy drafting worthless WRs to get OL and DL depth.

Howie Roseman gave Bryce Huff 3 for 51 million 34 million guaranteed and he has 10.tackles this year and listed as 2nd string. Bust! Fire Roseman!

But hasn't Howie Roseman focused on building lines on both sides of the ball? Just go back to playing Madden!

Ok, now the attention to Ryan Poles tightens. He deserves a fair bit of criticism for how this has unraveled, but I still think he’s done an overall good job and should get to hire his own HC, not someone from a short-list that was handed to him by George and Bill Polian.

I really don’t think things are as dire as they seem. The roster is on the upswing and they have another free agency and draft class coming in. Two relatively high 2nds are likely. Out of the Bears’ 8 losses I think a minimum of 5 of them can be placed on Flus/Waldron. Hire a competent HC and this team could definitely compete for the division next year.

He’s been there like 15 years. Their line a year or so ago were mostly vets who’ve been together for years. Much like the Lions line you mistakenly thought was built overnight.

He traded for AJ Brown, drafted a1st round WR around the same time and spent FA money on an aging RB; so I guess he’s prioritized more than line play.

I agree with this observation.

There are good pieces on this team just need to shore up some of the obvious weak points (O/D line) and for once in like forever the QB position isn't an issue, and Caleb has got "it" I think.  I feel bad for him and I wish the rest of the team cared about winning as much as he seems to do.

Neither line is solid. That's problematic. And Poles' fault.

But does Williams run downfield and block people in the back?

I never said the Lion line was built overnight.

You heavily implied it. You seemed to be under the impression the new regime had built the line up, when in fact like 4 of them have been there for years. Sewell I believe was the only addition under the new regime.

A FA and high draft pick on each side should help a lot.

No, you engaged in your usual antics.

This roster just needs a little shoring up, it doesn’t need a rehaul.
