Interesting watch. They really geeked out on the nuances of playing quarterback. Jenkins never played the game like Warner but I think is just as good or maybe even better at explaining it. Said there was really only one play he found super bothersome. Said that there were 4 plays that if they even hit 2 nobody is really making an issue of the offense or qb play.
He differed from Warner some over pure progression vs “PSL (basically post snap look).” Enjoyed his analysis there.
Laurence asked him why Stroud was so successful and he said it’s because they did perhaps the best job he’s ever seen of marrying OSU concepts to NFL concepts. Said he sees no USC concepts in the Bears offense, and that a lot of coordinators don’t even attempt to do that but just want to teach the NFL way.
