I sent this to ThePAMan, he absolutely refuses to watch it. It’s a shame, he’d maybe learn something if he had even a hint of an open-mind. But…we know how that ends…

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Yes, it ends with the Progressives electing Trump again like in 2016....

Dems this, Dems that.  Look, your woke, woke, dei, identify politics boy, Ron DeSanctimonious got his ass thumped by Trump.   And now you expect the Dems to bail you out.  Sorry, you don't have any skin in the game.  Quit whining.

I don’t have any skin in the game? I’m a tax paying American citizen that wants a president that isn’t an embarrassment to the country. But no, we are gonna have Trump again unless the next shooter actually gets him.

Quote
This very year, we’re seeing the terrible outcome of the Democratic machine deciding that there would be no primary process for the 2024 election, moving all the levers to ensure that the party’s choice was the only choice. Turns out he’s incapable of campaigning. Whoops! Biden’s infirmity is precisely the kind of problem that can be revealed in a primary process, but the party elites didn’t want one, and the party elites decide. Now they’re doing it again, doubling down on total control by the party, handing the nomination to the wildly unpopular Kamala Harris despite the fact that she has earned zero votes for the role. It’s incredible.

But hey, at least she has experience running tough campaigns in [checks notes] San Francisco and California. Surely, she has the stuff to secure Pennsylvania.

And of course, of course, of course our pliable liberal establishment media is nodding along and accepting all of this as business as usual without critique, questions, or complaint. The relationship between the media and the Democratic party has never been more accommodating or less adversarial; no one is going to be running major pieces that really, truly take the Democrats to task in the way they deserve. No one is going to defend democracy on its own terms, let alone as a means to choose the actual most popular candidate. The party is a joke and media coverage of the party is a joke, and no one within either is going to spoil the fun by pointing any of this out. I hope to God Trump doesn’t win, but the Democrats deserve to lose. They richly, richly deserve to lose. And since I’m hoping to God that Harris wins, I’m also necessarily hoping to God that the party never has any reason to question its destructive addiction to elite rule. When will Democratic voters actually get to determine the direction of their party, the way those lunatics in the GOP actually determine the direction of theirs? Probably never.

Voters vote for delegates. The delegates vote for nominees. The delegates the voters elected will do what they were sent to do, pick a nominee.

Really isn't anything democratic required of a primary. The parties are private organizations, that via the rules set up by the Governments of each state, get ballot access for the candidate of their choosing.

Note that in a real fucking state, California, this isn't true. For every office internal to the state, e.g. everything but the Presidential primary, you put your name on the ballot, there is an election, and the top two vote getters run off in the general election.

Republicans - Kamala Harris is a DEI hire

Also Republicans - It's completely rational that Wyoming gets 2 senators for their 500,000 people and California gets 2 senators for their 40 million people. If the senate were divided by population instead of by state, then the diversity of interests in small states with a minority of the population would not be represented.

That Burchett guy has some nerve. Harris is a mediocre DEI hire. She got 6 million votes to become a Senator. He got 144k votes to become a congressman

People say she’s a DEI hire because there’s zero chance she’s in the position she’s in if she isn’t a “black” woman. Pure pandering for minority/female votes. It is what it is.

Zero chance Trump is [in] his position if he were poor and black.

Couldn’t have been her impressive education?

Literally the only way Trump is in his position is by inheriting his status. That’s it. He’d be Al Bundy had he not won the rich daddy lottery.

Such bullshit. I’m not even a big fan of hers, but she was going to be successful no matter what. Doesn’t hurt to have friends in high places, though. And he wasn’t Mayor when they started dating. Trump literally would be Al Bundy if he hadn’t won the rich daddy lottery.

She was Senator of California, winning a competitive primary and general election against a large field including some white folk

As far as I’m concerned - you win a statewide election in the worlds 5th largest economy - that’s saying something
