Despite the rules for the debate, Trump accepted the invitation and the world saw what happened.

If it hadn't have been for Trump accepting the offer, the White House staff, Biden's advisors, the Biden administration and the national media would still be telling the American public that everything is hunky-dory, A-Ok and Biden is as sharp as a tack.

No DNC primaries were required.

Pretty bad strategic mistake by Donald. He needed to wait until October.

Por que no los dos?

I thought that was clear.

Who is less unqualified?

People who would vote for Trump either agree with his bizarre beliefs and  positions, or they don't know what he is saying, or they think he is just kidding, or it doesn't matter, or something.

I can't imagine Biden on his worst days thinking they had airports in 1776. Or releasing fake medical records and bragging his tests were positive. Or boosting posts suggesting his political opponents are guilty of treason. Or altering weather maps to make it look like a hurricane could have hit Alabama.

No matter what Biden said; Trump said worse stuff. Trump looked lucid saying it. Any Republicans calling for Trump to step aside?

I reject this premise. I'm a goddamn American. That's not the bar.

If Trump is such a goddamn loser, then this is an excellent opportunity to pick an optimal candidate on the Democratic side, since they will clearly win, and we don't have to settle for less.

America first, immigration, inflation. They don't care if Trump is a raving lunatic. I don't get it. I understand the uneducated lunatic fringe supporting him, but not the rest.

Taunting Democrats about Biden's apparent disability and Harris's flaws just further shows the extent of Republican moral depravity and utter hypocrisy.

Dems obviously have their own problems. I voted for them recently because most of the sane adults have been driven out of the Republican Party.

I hope they get it together.

Murph and I in lockstep on the issue of the Democratic nominee situation. Strange times indeed.

Saying both Biden and Harris should step aside is the easy part.  Let's see if Murph and you can agree on their replacements.

Americans have been voting for the lesser of two evils for much of my lifetime.

The two party system sucks, and third parties tend to select for crackpots.

It’s all about who has the most money. No 3rd party will win because they don’t have the backing.
