I think Illinois matches up very well with UCONN and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we beat them. They’re probably due for an ass whoopin’!

My guess is if this game is played 10x they run us 4-5. Beat us by 5ish another 4. We win 2. We probably need to bring our A-A+ game to win because those cats (Huskies) are humming right now.

I agree with Brad that I really like this team.  It was a pretty sedentary day for me after the late game and pressers afterwards.  That last night-cap didn't help this morning either.  So I listened/watched a lot of local and national sports chat.  It's pretty amazing that practically nobody is giving us much of a chance against U Con.  I disagree and think that, if we stay loose and focused, we've got a legit shot here.  For those of us in the 4th quarter, it sure would be sweet to see a champ once during our time here.  I don't give a shit if it comes with an asterisk either because of our star.

UConn seems to be a level above Purdue and everyone else.

ILLINI TO WIN -

TSJ continues to have TSJ type games 23-28 points and defends above average on Castle or Newton. Would prefer him on Newton.
Domask breaks out of offensive slump, gets back to some booty iso and gets around15-18
CoHawk, shoots 40+ from 3 pt range making 3-4
Dainja get us around 12 pts and about 8 fouls on opposing bigs.
Rodgers role is to rebound and guard Castle...if he contains Castle on offense and the boards.

ILLINI get transition points and cause some turn-overs they win 89-83 and go to the F4 again.
