I’m not sure I deserve having my baseball team be the pale hose and my football team be the Bear. I have been a pretty solid person in this life.

Fuck if anything they should have named the bumbling incompetent Chicago football team the Cubs. Seems more fitting. “Could be ferocious predator someday but isn’t there yet”

Here's the best part: The history that was made tonight is only good for the 10th overall pick in the 2025 draft. Not that it matters one bit with Getz making the pick anyway. Just funny that they set the modern era record for most losses in a season and they still don't even get to pick in the top 5 next year.

MLB has some draft rule that large market teams (which, yes, the Sox are still considered one believe it or not) can't have lottery picks in consecutive years. Baseball is weird.
