No, but guess what? They're about to open a Culvers in Washington!

I will come up sometime this year.

I'm not important enough to cut the ribbon. But I can show up shortly after they open and get pissed because nobody knows what they're doing yet.

Or I can wait a couple weeks. That's what I usually do when a new place opens.

I once stood in line 20 minutes with basically no one in front of me (one person maybe?) at the old Burger King at 4th and Green in Champaign and finally had to leave because I couldn’t get waited on.

The only decent Burger King I've been to in the last 10 years is the one off of I39 in Wenona. The rest have been absolute fucking garbage.

Which is a shame because a whopper, made correctly, is amazing.

Probably 2nd to last time I went to a BK I took my kid there for nuggets when he was about 3. The food was so bad I threw it out and left without even complaining. Figured if they served the shit they gave us there was no chance they’d get it right.

That location closed down probably less than a year later.

Was the BK front counter employee wearing a Mack Bear jersey?

Hardee's hot ham n' cheese was money back in the day.

I just realized how little I eat fast food. Used to love Arby's, a good Whopper, McD's, but none of that shit even sounds good anymore. I'll get a Culver burger about once a month. Probably because I work at home and live out in the sticks.

And I also agree about the McD's breakfast burrito.

Culver's burgers are good. I like their chicken fillets too. I had the cod once, it was undercooked.

I had a Jersey Mike's cheese steak. I'll go back.

I have driven by a Portillo's a few times. It's always too crowded so I keep going..

Jersey Mikes isn’t too bad.

Portillo’s is good. Their chocolate cake shakes are to die for! Chocolate shake with apiece of chocolate cake at the bottom 🤤

I've had way more spicy Italians at subway than I would care to admit. Basically lived on that in college.

What we are learning is that the people on this board appear to have terrible eating habits. I'm sure some will question their taste in fast food, as well.

40 years ago my favorite was the Italian BMT with vinegar & oil.
