To be clear, not once have I said that that throw or the Cleveland loss is why I was ready to move on with Fields. It was a good throw and Tonyan blew it, as I've said over and over. There were many other times that Fields blew it, but those times you simply ignored or argued that they were someone else's fault. Not once have I blamed Fields for that Tonyan drop.
Just as you ignore all the other times St. Brown, Tonyan, Smith-Marsette, Mooney, Scott, et al, or a lineman, or a coach (Flus?), or the defense blew games. I can’t ever recall you harping on St. Brown for dropping a perfectly thrown ball on 4th down to end a game. I never heard those criticisms from anyone here (that I can recall).
Flus arguably blew three games last year.
