What kind of retards think it’s solely QB play? It’s as important as ever with the newer rules, but a well constructed team can accomplish a lot with just competency at the QB position.

Any time I try to give the Texans or Packers coaching staff or receivers credit being good or playing well I get lectured about how it’s almost solely because of the quarterback. Here come the “No we don’t!” comments.

Receivers: bottom 5-7
Oline: bottom 10
Coaching: bottom 5

Last years’ group of receivers may have been the most ragtag group I’ve ever seen on an NFL roster. In 45 years of watching football.

Going into this year is interesting. Bears ranked 22nd. Interestingly, Houston and Green Bay ranked in the bottom three teams. Funny what a good QB will do for a team…

Their receivers are all like 1st and 2nd year guys. Yes. They’ve gotten some outstanding quarterback play recently, but you can see the talent and scheme are contributing as well.

From your link. Even with the bad preseason rating, they acknowledge the “potential” of the group. They are reaching it. If Watson finally gets healthy and reaches his, they are going to be a serious problem for the NFC North.
